Honey Rogue is a boutique graphic design studio. We say 'boutique' because we are a small team and when we engage with clients, big or small, we offer them a bespoke and comprehensive creative service. We combine a highly imaginative approach with a thorough production ethic. We can deliver the most unique solutions for our customers across all facets of design; illustration, typography, print design, visual identity, brand development, marketing materials, web design, animation and motion graphics.

Honey Rogue Design was first conceived by founder and creative director Benjamin Hay, around 2007, initially operating outside of his 9-5 capacity as Art Director/Senior Designer at TOdesign, Sydney. During these early years Honey Rogue art directed and designed creative projects for a wide range of local independent musicians, bands, management companies, artists, labels, event companies and cafés, across a diverse folio of work.

Having left TOdesign in late 2010 to concentrate on running Honey Rogue as a full-time creative entity, the studio initially took shape in a shared warehouse in Waterloo before moving to its own premises at Stanmore.

As creative director of Honey Rogue, Ben draws from over 10 years experience working within the graphic design industry of Australia, having completed a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communications) and graduated with first class honours from the University of Technology, Sydney. Since university Ben has been employed within a wide spectrum of small and large design agencies including Emery Vincent Design (now Frost design), TOdesign/LINO Magazine and as a freelancer at The Revolution, to name a few.
